Shannon Scanlan (she/her) was born in Vernon, British Columbia. She has always looked to making art as her primary creative outlet.

Shannon graduated from a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Victoria in 2005.

After which, she left Canada for the UK and Europe in 2006 to travel and see art coming home in 2007.

Shannon moved to Toronto in 2011 where she attended York University to complete her Masters of Fine Arts in 2013.

Currently Shannon lives in the GTA with her partner, Christopher.

Shannon has had exhibitions in Victoria, Toronto, Montreal and Windsor.
